Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary also known as Pakhui Tiger Reserve is located at Arunachal Pradesh. It is a project Tiger reserve in the East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India. It consists of wide variety of animals that stay in the forest without human interventions. This Tiger Reserve is encircled with beautiful rivers in the three sides.
At the eastern side River Pakke, Western and Northern side river Bhareli adds splendor appearance to the sanctuary. This Tiger Reserve has won the India Biodiversity Award 2016 in the category of Conservation of threatened species for its HornbillNest Adoption Programme.
