In which oviparous animal originated in the period?

Oviparous animals are the ones that lay eggs and since water animals are the first to arrive on planet and since these water animals give birth only by the means of oviparous method . They probably originated in the cenozoic ("new life") period. And the land oviparous animals originated in Cambrian period.
