Answer:
All useful materials are completely reabsorbed in the proximal convoluted tubule of nephron.
Explanation:
- Nephron consists of two major parts namely malphigian body or renal corpuscle and renal tubule.
- Malphigian body consists of cup shaped Bowman's capsule and coiled glomerulus.
- Renal tubule has four parts namely, proximal convoluted tubule, loop of Henle, distal convoluted tubule and collecting tubule.
- Malphigian body filters the content of blood except some blood proteins.
- PCT reabsorbs most of the water, all electrolyte, all glucose and other useful materials.
- Descending loop of Henle is permeable to water and ascending loop of Henle is permeable to ions.
- The hormone ADH acts on DCT and absorbs the water from the concentrated filtrate .
- The urine thus formed is transferred to collecting duct via collecting tubule.
