chromoplasts are the colorful plastids that provide color to flowers and fruits of the plant which attracts insect for pollination

Hi friend,

There are scattered freely throughout the cytoplasm. As they are responsible for taking sunlight and creating stored energy. According to me, they are generally found in mature tissues and are drived from preexisting mature plastids....i hope it helps you
