More cytokinin induces growth of shoot buds, while more auxin induces root formation. Cytokinins are involved in many plant processes, including cell division and shoot and root morphogenesis. They are known to regulate axillary bud growth and apical dominance.

chhavi89: what is apical dominance
sneha7587: In botany, apical dominance is the phenomenon whereby the main, central stem of the plant is dominant over other side stems; on a branch the main stem of the branch is further dominant over its own side branchlets.

hey mate!!

CYTOKININ:-

1) it promotes cell division and cell enlargement

2) it promotes MORPHOGENESIS
( basically in Root and shoot differentiation)

3) concentration of apical dominance
(promotes growth of lateral buds)

4) helps in stomatal opening.

5) increase the number of leaves and chloroplasts in leaves.

GIBBERELINS:-

HELPS IN

1) stem /internode elongation.

2) ELONGATION OF GENETUC DWARF PLANTS

3) breaking if dormancy in SEEDS.

4) seeds germination.

5) delay senescence (*FRUITS, )

Hope it helps
