here 1+sqrt2 or 1-sqrt2 are not rationals so they cant be represented on number line and in quadranr

Solution:
1+√2 , 1-√2
The value of √2 is 1.4
hence, 1+1.4 , 1-1.4
that is , 2.4 , 0.4
Hence both are positive
therefore it lies in 2nd quadrant
