So firstly, identify the sign which each quadrant possesses:

Q1 = +,+

Q2 = -,+

Q3 = -,-

Q4 =+,-

So,

(-2,3) lies in Q2

(3,-5) lies in Q4

(-4,4) lies in Q2

(6,0) is in the form (x,y); ie. (6,0) = (x,y)

x co ordinate = 6 and y co ordinate = 0

So this point must lie on the x axis where y is 0
