Answer:

if x and y both are positive then in 1st quadrant

if x is ngative anf y is positive then 2nd quad.

if x and y both negative then 3rd quadrant

if x is positive and y is negative then 4th quad.

so they are in 2nd, 4th , on negative x axis , 1st quadrant, and 3rd quadrant respectively.
