We know from graph that:

1st quadrant=(+,+)

2nd quadrant=(-,+)

3rd quadrant=(-,-)

4th quadrant=(+,-)

So, from this ,we can say that:

a(3,4)=1st quadrant bcoz(3=positive,4=positive)

b(3,-2)=4th quadrant bcoz(3=positive,-2=negative)
