since the y axis divides it hence the coordinates point which divides it is ( 0 , y )

now ,

(mx2 + nx1 )/ ( m+n) = 0

i.e ( -1m + 5n ) / ( m+ n ) = 0

i.e -1m + 5n = 0. ( on cross multiplication )

i.e 1 m = 5n

i.e m/n = 5/1

i.e m:n = 5:1

therefore y axis divides the line segment joining points a and b in the ratio 5:1

hope it helps you :)
