in which reaction there is change in oxidation number of N atom .

answer is 2nd as it is a disproportinate reaction the reaction in which there is oxidation as well as reducing of a single specie ... in 2nd HNO2 has Nitrogen in +3 oxi state and HNO3 has +5 oxi state.

i m JEE aspirant not NEET

1) no change in oxidation number of N atom which is +4

2) N in oxidation state of +4 is changing to +5 and +3 simultaneously which means a simple redox or disproportionation reaction occurs there..

3) No change as it is -3

4) No change as it is +5
