Wadis are permanent or intermittent dry beds in the UAE. The term wadi is used to refer to valley in Arabic. The wadis of the UAE are the source of primary rain catchment in the country as there are no permanent rivers. Wadis run through the Hajis located between Oman the northern emirates of the UAE.
The wadis in the UAE are filled with water during the rainy season from November to March. The evaporation rate is also low during this time.

The answer of your question is the "rainy season''
wadis are actually the riverbed that are usually dry and generally contain water in it during the rainy season. In the UAE wadi are used for storing or catching the rains water temporary because of lacking of permanent river in that area. . So they are fully filled by water in the rainy season during the month of november to march.
Hope this helps.
