In which season of India, it rains heavily in India. Give brief introduction of the season.

The main monsoon season in Indiaruns from June to September and the question on everyone’s lips is always, “What's it really like and is travel still possible?” This is very understandable as the thought of rain and floods is enough to put a dampener on any holiday. However, the good news is that you don’t have to let the monsoon ruin your travel plans, and travel can even be advantageous during this time.

"India receives heavy rain during the rainy season, which is also known as Monsoon season. It starts in the early June and extends till mid of September all across the country.

The climatic condition during this season are thus marked with high humidity, high heat which causes extensive clouding and ultimately heavy rain with strong surface winds as well. The country experiences monsoon as a result of Southeast trade winds which massively circles over Indian Ocean."
