When a nucleus divides, the process is called karyokinesis and it comprises 4 stages.

They are Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase and Telophase.

During prophase, the nucleoli vanish and the chromatin fibres get tightly coiled and convert into chromosomes.

They line up in twos and join at the centromere.

Now in cytpplasm, spindle fibres sta, which are made from micro tubules.t to form.
