Anopheles inoculated sporozoites in the human body during blood meal withdraw and follow its life cycle into two stages:-

1. Asexual Phase (infected stage in human by sporozoites)

2. Sexual Phase (infected stage in mosquito is gametocytes)

Sporozoites enter into the liver cells called as hepatocytes that mature into schizonts & divide into daughter cells merozoites, and which infects red blood cells. In RBC, merozoites developed into trophozoites which then develops into merozoites. Again some trophozoites form gametocytes by

a sexual method and infect the mosquitos. Inside mosquito, again formation of sporozoites takes place and again infected to the human body. This cycle repeats again n again.

So, the correct answer is 'Gametocytes'
