The female reproductive system that produces the eggs is called ovaries.

The ovaries or the ova produce the eggs, the formed egg is then transported through the fallopian tube when it becomes mature.

It is in these fallopian tubes the fertilization of eggs takes place if a healthy sperm enters the "female reproductive system".

After fertilization, it moves to the uterus with a thick lining to get implanted. If it doesn't get implanted it is shed out and the menstrual cycle repeats.
