The theory of the creation of universe is called the "Big Bang Theory".
In this theory , universe was a area of no matter and infinite density called the

Universe, a word one may look upon in different contexts. Let's not look at the famous myths and legends of creation of universe and come to the basic scientific explanation.
WHAT IS UNIVERSE?
Just like area under speed-time graph will give distance, in the same way, area under space-time graph is the UNIVERSE...
This include all the celestial bodies, matter , antimatter, intergalactic void and of course, PARALLEL UNIVERSES.
WHAT IS PARALLEL UNIVERSES?
Let's say you keep a cat in a box with tasty food with poison in it. The box is closed for 12 hours and then is opened. The cat may have died in one case or may not have eaten the food. It even may have eaten but survived due to immunity. These all things happen but in different universes. These are just hypothetical, and if the same occurrence happen in 2 universes, then they will coincide.
There are basically 7 universes and we live in the last that is the 7th one. Well that's just biblical. We often call PARALLEL UNIVERSES as MULTIVERSE.
HOW FAR ARE THESE MULTIVERSES?
No sweat, they are not very far to each other. According to Dopelganger, they are just 10¹¹⁵⁰ meters away from each other. this means there are 1150 zeroes after 1. well that's not very big, OR IS IT???
HOW WAS THE UNIVERSE CREATED?
Of all the cosmological theories Big bang is the widely accepted one. The universe was once a singularity and it exploded across straight space-time graph. It is still exploding since the universe is EXPANDING. Once the explosion stops, the UNIVERSE will collapse.
WHAT IS THE AGE AND NATURE OF OUR UNIVERSE?
Well as compared to other multiverses, our UNIVERSE is very very very very young. It is just 13700000000 years old, too young isn't it? Well this estimation would have been impossible without the Lambda-CDM model of the UNIVERSE.
Our universe have a unique shape. Wee cut a triangle from a sphere and spread it but not completely. That will be the shape of our UNIVERSE...
