(b) chemical change does not forms new substance.

  1. There are two types of changes in matter namely physical and chemical change.
  2. Physical change is accompanied with change in physical properties of substances. This means they do not result in formation of new substances. They can regain their original form.
  3. Chemical changes involve change in chemical composition like bonds, constituent elements etc. New substance is formed and original substance cannot be obtained back.
