Reserved forest is the right answer.

In order to develop railways and to control the tribal groups easily, the British government took control of the forests. For this reason, the British government passed the Forest Act of 1878. Through the enactment of this act, the Colonial government divided the forests of India into three categories known as the protected, reserved and the village forests. The government kept eyes on the villagers and they were not allowed to enter in the reserved and protected forests. They were not allowed to get anything from the reserved forests, while they could take timber from the protected forests to meet some of their essential needs such as for fuel and for building houses. Hence, this act affected the lives of various tribes of India.
