In which type of situation would it make sense to use edge computing? where critical decisions must be made on a split-second basis where there are few or no digital devices to capture data where data is uploaded to a server at a scheduled time each week where users are in close proximity to the central data server I don't know this yet.

It is to be used where critical decisions must be made on a split-second basis

  • Transmission of data requires time. In certain situations, where real-time or highly quick results are required, Edge makes sense.
  • Robots and sensors can make split-second choices and carry out activities in a better, quicker, and safer manner because of Edge's ability to analyse data at a high rate.
  • Everything is being revolutionised by this, including quality control on the manufacturing line and smart signs.
  • Thus, in situations requiring critical decisions on a quick basis, it must be employed.
