In which ways lok sabha can express lack of confidence in the government

If the majority party (with an absolute majority in the House) issues a whip to party members to vote in favor of the Government, then it is impossible to remove the Government by a no-confidence motion. Hence the no-confidence exercise of House merely becomes the no-confidence exercise of the Party.



No motion of no confidence can be brought before rajaya Sabha as per rules . A vote of 'no confidence' is not passed against a person. It is passed against the government. ... If the government falls or the Prime Minister resigns, all ministers have to resign.

In general, no confidence motions are very important when a debate is held on the no confidence motion members also discuss the general policies of the government in detail as well as not the matter of a particular bill.
