Actually,British doesn't came to India to colonise

They came to trade in India

East India Company is established in India in the year 1612

Like this they came and sep up some companies

Later they colonised India

Indians started the First battle against British in 1857 but Indians are failed to get independence

The British rule continued in India till we got independence in 1947

1857 year is also known as First India's Independence
