Suez Canal's construction started in 25 September 1859 by Suez Canal company and it was officially opened 17 November 1869. it is used for the short way to go west Europe, North and South America by sea way.
It was also used for import and export of goods from India to Britain or vice versa as it shortened the route by 10,000 km
