Answer:

I have heard so many people say “Don't trust anyone!” BUT, when you think about it, is life a better experience trusting most people or not trusting most people? It's far better to trust.

If you do take the path of trust, you will grow through many obstacles (people disappointing your expectations, losing some money and time, being rejected and abandoned, being misled, etc), however all such obstacles teach you to be more attentive and introspective.

This is not to say you should blindly believe anything and everything told to you by people. Trust is different from acceptance. Think of trust as a general starting point when relating to people.

So start with trust but don't blindly believe. Give everyone the decency of trust at first but be careful accepting and believing.

You can never judge a person and tell if you can trust them or not. If someday you trust a person based on yours or someone else’s judgement about them and they break your trust, it’s gonna hurt. Similarly, if you don’t trust someone and they were actually trustworthy, you would never know. The best option is to go with the flow and do what your gut says at that very moment. But you can never tell if they are trustworthy or not.

Life is very uncertain which makes it both, scary and exciting at the same time. It’s always about trial and error.
