This because the Coromandel Coast is on the East Coast of India and receives littlerain from the South West Monsoon winds in summer as it is on the leeward side. It also receives rain from the retreating monsoons.

because the cold air comes from Mediterranean sea do rain in North India Pakistan and China in winter season so Punjab gets rain and Jammu Kashmir gets snow fall
