In winter, when we sit in front of a room heater as shown in the

picture, we feel warm.
A.)How is the heat from the room heater transferred to us?

B.)How does this radiated heat make us feel warm?

C.)What is the function of the shiny part behind the coils in a heater?

Room heater works on the principle of (Heating Effect of Current)

as current start flowing through the coils it heated up and glow

A.) Heat is a radiation transferred to us through(Medium) Air

B.) As the air get warmed up due to the heat Radiation from of coil  we feels warm

C.)  this polished surface reflects back all the heat radiations falling on it ,concentrating it on forward direction.

So that we feel even the heat , even if stand a few feet away from the heater.
