in winters many people reduced the intake of water do you have any explanation for the reduced water intake​

Answer:

In summer, we sweat a lot to cool our body down in high temperatures. Also, there is more absorption of water in the kidney tubules. Thus we feel dehydrated and have a constant urge to drink water to quench our thirst.

In winter it is cold and we sweat less and also there is less water absorption from of water from the kidney tubules during ultra-filtration. Hence, less water is lost by the body.

Thus we reduce our water intake during winter.
