in wurtz reaction if we take CH3Cl and C2H5CL then poduct will be..

a)propane + ethane
b) propane
c)propane +ethane+ butane
d)propane+butane..

Wurtz reaction:

$CH_{3}Cl + C_{2}H_{5}Cl$ + 2Na dry ether → $C_{3}H_{8} + C_{2}H_{6} + C_{4}H_{10}$

When Chloromethane reacts with Chloroethane in the presence of Sodium metal and dry ether it gives propane (Cross product), ethane, butane.
