The wave length is 5.89A°

Explanation:

To find the value of wavelength

we have λ = βd/D

Given fringe Spacing β = 0.31mm = 0.31x10⁻³m

Distance from the slit D  = 1m

Slit seperation d = 1.9mm = 1.9x10⁻³m

Then

λ = βd/D  =  [(0.31x10⁻³m) x (1.9x10⁻³m)] / 1m

λ = 5.89Α°
