In young's double slit experiment the slits are 0.2 mm apart and the screen is 1.5 m away it is observed that the distance between the central bright fringe and fourth dark fringe is 1.8 cm calculate the wavelength of the light used

fringe width = w = Dλ/d = 1.5 λ/0.0002 = 7500 λ

distance between central bright fringe and 4th dark fringe = (3+1/2)w
     = 7.5 w = 1.8 cm = 0.018 m
=> w = 0.0024 m

λ = 0.0024/7500 m = 320 nm
