Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I woul like to highlight the problem of damaged drainage system in Kona Expressway.

Sir, the drainage system in this locality is in a pitiable situation. It is old and has not been repaired for almost two decades. It is badly worn out and damaged. The dirty and foul smelling water of the drains overflow and flood the roads.

The residents have submitted several complaints and memorandum to the concerned department and authorities but till date nothing has been done.

Therefore, once again I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to survey the situation of this locality and to repair the drainage system at the earliest since the residents have faced much difficulties and untold hardships for several years.
