In your locality people are affected due to water scarcity. What measures will you take
to deal with the problem of water scarcity?

Firstly, we have to recycle and purify the contaminated water and make it fit for consumption. Then my following measures are as follows:
1.) Improve practices related to farming as it will increase water table of the particular area.
2.) Support and work on water conservation project.
3.) Clean lakes and rivers which are a source of drinking water for aquatic animals and birds.
4.) Afforestation in a large number should be undertaken because trees supports a great source of water.
5.) Use the method of drip irrigation in the fields to consume water at a best way.
6.) Rainwater harvesting should be practice as it will fulfill the requirements for domestic water use such as washing, bathing, cleaning, etc...

In order to deal with the water scarcity, I will first appeal the people to make limited use of water.

The reuse of domestic wastewater is also an option to save the water.

We can direct the pipes of wastewater towards garden in order to water the plants.

Rainwater harvesting is one more effective method.

We can collect the rainwater falling on rooftop and then make use of it for domestic purpose.
