Because it created a vertical line among the different varnas , so the people at the bottom were not given much rights and the privileges.. It can be corrected when the varna system will be in horizontal line that means all will be equal..

Varna system can be declared as non correct.

Although uptill the early Vedic age the varna system was reliable and non rigid but as the later Vedic age arrived, the varna system was a great drawback mainly for the vaishyas and shudras while kshatriyas and brahmanas enjoyed most of the privileges.

In rig vedic period their was no boundation in choosing the occupation you want regarding but as the time passed or I must say the later Vedic period arrived, freedom of choosing the occupation regardless of the varna was abolished.

Also the shudra varna started to get an even worse treatment.

The varna system was definitely not correct.
