In your opinion what could have been the cause of the grandmother's death?

The extreme happiness of seeing the grandson after five years became the reason of the grandmother's death. She was so happy and joyous that she called all the women from the neighbors and sang and beat the drums as a mode of celebration. She even forgot to pray and sang continuously. This made her over exhausted which became the reason of her death.

When the grandson had arrived the grandmother felt ecstatic which led her to beat around drums with a band of women proclaiming the fact that her grandson had returned.

But this did not lead to a good result since she had over strained herself from doing so which led to her demise as we know of it from the story itself.
