If seen from both sides, both the invention of three wheelers as well as the steam engine have it's own significance.

The invention of three wheelers at the beginning helped the people to carry or transport things from one place to another. But this was applicable only for short distances.

When the invention of steam engine took place, it allowed the people to carry huge amount of goods from one place to another. This was applicable to both for short distances as well as for long distances. The steam engine had one more advantage from the three wheelers is that it could transport things faster and without any risk.
