Margaret Fuller, who wrote "Summer on the lake",in 1843,to differentiates between the materialistic motivations of settlers, and the spiritual aims of tourists on the other. Its a period of widespread questioning of the historical progressiveness of capitalism. It is structed by the tension, the stark reality of America's westward expansion. In 1842,Fuller was totally exhausted to her financial problem and she spent the running year with the people's lives by changing their minds. Then she wrote "The great Lawsuit." Its about the freedom of all women.Because she realised that the whole society deformed by mascuiline and feminine principles. So at present days, that would be the most interesting to students today.
