Answer:

Our planet's history cast in stone:

Explanation:

After some long years of discoveries of geologists, the rock formations in the Barberton Mountain of South Africa were concluded to be 3.2 to 3.57 billion years old.  The discovery was formally known as “the history of our planet cast in stone”.

The province of Mpumalanga in South Africa is home to two of the oldest and best-preserved rock sequences found anywhere on our planet, which provide the only direct information from which the earliest history of our planet can be reconstructed.

The research team was led by historian Peter Delius to know about the historical facts of the provinces.

Because the world's oldest fossils have been found here, the area is a Mecca for scientists interested in how the young Earth worked 3 500 000 millenniums BC, and in searching for new clues to the origin of life.

In a sense, Mpumalanga represents the cradle of life. Earth is about 4 550 million years old, but no terrestrial rocks that old have been found. The rocks of the Barberton Mountain Land are estimated to be about 3 600 million years old.

Here researchers can "read" and interpret the early chapters of Earth's history with some accuracy; and from all over the world, geologists make the scientific pilgrimage to Barberton to study this small fossilized remnant of the young Earth and its earliest inhabitants.

The mountain was designated as World Heritage site right after the discoveries of such rocks.

Answer:

The Stone Age was perhaps the most important landmarks in human history, an era where the humans started to settle as permanent farmers in the warm fertile land, leaving behind the nomadic lives.

It was during the Ice Age that the early primates learned to carve different tools out of the stone. They used those tools for hunting gigantic mammals, farming, and many other purposes.
