Dear editor,

I am a resident of colony 36, south Delhi. The residents of this colony are living a very miserable life due to poor living standards.

The roads are broken and there is no proper sewerage system and when it rains, the roads turn into a pool of water. Street crimes are increasing and parents are afraid to send their children outside in the evening.

Through your newspaper, I want to convey my message to the Delhi municipal committee to take some action.

Thanks.

Sub : Bad condition of Road and Electricity

Sir,

Through the column of your much esteemed daily I intend to air the untold miseries of thousands of people.

About three thousand people live in our colony. The Most of the roads of this colony are not in good condition. In rainy season the condition of the road goes from worse to worst. The students are then to stop going to schools.

Moreover we are suffering for poor electric facilities and we require street lampposts or street lights because nowadays snatching and thieving has become a talk of the town and for that women and children are afraid of going out of their houses after sunset.

But unfortunately repeated requests to the concerning Panchayet Samiti and Block Development Office have come to nothing. Our only demand is to get the solution of our horrible problems.

Kashinagar Yours Truly,
