Every year Independence Day is celebrated in our school. Independence Day is a very auspicious day for everybody. during this day all the students have to come to school before 7:30 a.m. At sharp 8 o'clock in the morning our headmistress of the school hoist the national flag . When the national flag is hoisted, we all students have to sing the National anthem of the country.
After that, cultural program that has been organized for the Independence Day celebration is performed where students dance, sing, recite poems and perform drama. After the program is finished, we are given chocolates for taking part in this auspicious day. After that photographs are being clicked and our dear headmistress give speech related to Independence Day and that's how the Independence Day celebration in our school comes to an end.

Every year we celebrate the Independence Day in a special way but this year it was quite different as it was in a pandemic situation. It took much effort to gather the students and conduct such a great program following all the Covid-19 Protocols. All were wearing masks having the colors of the Indian flag. The students formed an assembly and hoisted the flag and sang the National Anthem and National Song. At the end of the assembly sweets were distributed and all were instructed to use the hand sanitizers too. Later, the students were dispersed to their homes.
