INA right angle triangle ABC,right angle is at B,if tanA=√3 then find the value of(i) sinA cosC +cosAsinC (ii) cosA cos C -sonA sinC

Answer:

given

tanA=√3

if tanA=√3

then, angle A=60°

given , it is a right angle at angle B=90°

if, angle A=60°,B=90°

then,

angle C = ?

we know that

angle A+angle B+ angle C=180°

angle C=180°-60°-90°

=180°-150°

angle C=30°

i) sinAcosC+cosAsinC

it is in the form of sin(A+C)

now ,

sin(A+C)=sin(60°+30°)

=sin90°

sin(A+C)=1

ii)cosAcosC-sinAsinC

it is in the form of cos(A+C)

now,

cos(A+C)=cos(60°+30°)

=cos90°

cos(A+C)=0
