yes inadequate and improper diet can lead to diseases for example if in a person's diet of vitamin A deficiency can cause night blindness and xerophthalmia similarly if there is efficiency of vitamin D then it can cause Beri Beri if deficiency of Vitamin C in Scurvy if deficiency of vitamin D then rickets and if there's deficiency of iron in the food then the person may suffer through anaemi

this was about in a liquid diet if there is improper diet then a person may suffer through malnutrition and obesity due to this improper portion of diet.
