Heya friend,

CHILD LABOUR – THE GREATEST THREAT TO MANKIND
- Deepika Aggarwal
Child abuse, as the word infers, is one of the most prevalent hazards in the Indian society. No matter that the government is taking absolute initiatives to protect children’s rights, childhood is actually on the urge of extinction. Even now, we can still find small children, of age 4-5 years, when they shall be privileged to study, are undermined to do masonry, and labourism. They are enforced to carry bricks on their shoulders when they shall be having books in their hands.
Not only this, despite child labour been declared illegal, it is still on the rise and the results are as if in Uttar Pradesh alone, 7,000 cases of child labour have been reported in the year 2016. Can we expect the nation to prosper in this manner? No, we can’t.
The measures are taken by the government, but they are too short to be condemned, and the hirers don’t pay any heed to it. The parents too force their children to go out and earn money at a very young age, and constrainedly, they need to indulge in laboring activities. We can find them functioning in the mines, doing forced labour when they ought to be in the seminary.
The results are worse. There are several cases of child deaths reported in construction areas every year, that is hazardous to the functionality of the nation. CHILDREN ARE THE PILLARS OF THE SOCIETY. Then how would the society build up when these pillars are killed or urged to suicide every year? Can we expect the bright future of our country this way? Won’t this prejudice claim to be dangerous for our country’s development? Are our hearts too incorrigible to be unaffected by the sufferings of those little kids?
And most of all, despite of all these happenings, the public is still sitting in a distraught state…..
Somebody has said it right,
"Childhood should be carefree, playing in the sun; not living a nightmare in the darkness of the soul.”

Let them enjoy! Fixing them with labour is like harnessing a rose to a pot of dirt, where it would never flourish.....
Let them be what they are....
Let them be educated......
Don't force them to die...... :/
CHILDREN CANNOT STOP CHILD ABUSE, ADULTS CAN.........
Hope this helps!!!
