Yes,,, income tax is charged on income but there is no definition of income....

Because....

We can't estimate that how much a person earn on an average of Nation income but tax is a compulsory payment to govt so it is also must to pay the taxes.....

So govt applied income tax directly to the existing whatever income of a person on a percentage decided...
