since CO2 is a green house gas, it does not allow the sunrays which have entered the earth's atmosphere to escape out. when it gets increased in the atmosphere of the earth, it absorbs more heat from the sun and does not allow even a little amount of sunlight to escape thus leading to the increase in global warming I. e. the rise in temperature of the earth's surface.
hope this helps!!!

Answer:
Because the Co2 is formed by bad gases such as polluted ones from the industries and it enters the ozone and damages that layer and the layer is damaged so then the radiations from the sun enters the earth
