The statement is correct .If the energy level is lowered down then the amount of CO2 which is releasing in the atmosphere will reduce and this will impact the environment in the positive way.

Instead of using many large machines,only one can be made with high energy efficiency and the real life example is of Preem which is the largest fuel company in Sweden and they have reduced the heat exchangers from 4 to 1 which is a big thing.
