increased unemployment is an indicator of a depressed economy because as it will reduce physical and mental labour work and increase mechanical work and then he/she would find any particular job and cannot run their livelihoods hence leading to depression.

Increased unemployment is an indicator of a depressed economy. increases unemployed implies less level of education in the economy and less production in economy. less production level can be situation of deflation.
