Plant being a living being shows growth in its life.

There are four grwth phases in the growth cycle of plant which include the phase of cell division, the phase of elongation, the phase of differentiation and the phase of maturation.

All the phases in this are characterised by one or the other changes and the increased vacuolation is a characterstic feauture of phase of differentiation.
