Good evening to the respected ones! Today, I have been presented here to say a few lines on 'Increasing Crimes Against Women And Children'.

Day by day, in India, the rate of crimes against women and children are increasing surprisingly. There are so many factors working behind it that if we start to find, we may not be able to find where it came from. Our concerns should be in giving security to the women and children. A child is the future of the country and an woman bears the child. We need to feel the importance of both of them and that is how, we will be able to keep them safe. It isn't important that she may be our mother, sister; we need to take responsibility for her security as much as possible. Where we can feel money, a piece of paper as ourselves; then why we are not thinking women as our own sisters and mother. To make someone safe, it isn't important that there should be any blood relation; relation of the hearts is the most important thing of all, as I feel. Once we were all children only and we were unsafe too. But we overcame those situations and now we are here. We need to think a child not only as someone's child but also to feel ourselves as that child if were I. Many things will be changed. Revolution may come. But still we need to change the mentality of ourselves to make a better place for women and children. I am here not to prescribe the problems but to find the positive things, we should do. I hope that we begin the next day thinking new and doing what should be done.

Crime Against Women

The vast majority of crimes against women go unnoticed and unreported. There is no proper data on crimes against women and information on the subject are conflicting. The fear of social stigma and the uncertainty of getting justice are the main reasons why most of the crimes against women go unreported.

Crime against women have created a poor image of India among foreign countries. Millions of foreign tourists visit India every year and this has directly affected the tourism industry. It is a matter of great shame that when our country is marching towards prosperity and advancement, the barbaric acts against women are on the rise.

Our fundamental duties under Article 51A of the Constitution also include the provision that it shall be the duty of every citizen of India to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women. However, crimes against women are increasing.

1. Stringent measures need to be taken to curb this and safeguard women. The government, the law enforcement agencies and the general public must unite to put an end to violence against women.
2. The Government must form special police cells with women officers and other police personnel to receive reports about crime against women and take severe actions against the culprits. 
3. The Government must also pass and implement more strict laws than the existing ones for the safety of women. There is an urgent need to impart and inculcate moral values to the police. We must streamline the police and prosecuting agencies.
4. The women victims must come out courageously against any crime against them. They must take a strong stand so that in future no other woman has to go through the same traumatic experience.
5. Our political leaders, irrespective of their party affiliations should show political will and conviction to deal severely with those guilty of crimes against women.
6. More women need to be recruited into our police forces.
