Despite the sensational constant crime reporting and the “feelings “ that danger is around every corner, crime rates have actually fallen

Despite the doom and gloom aura around us, remember that once upon a time, news travelled slowly. Violence was acceptable if committed on the right groups of people. There were also fewer people living farther apart.

Under these conditions, we can only try to improve what is. We can’t assume that people were ever different
