ACHIEVEMENTS: First Indian Satellite

YEARS : In 1975, India's first satellite was made and launched thanks to the former Soviet Union (Russia)

DESCRIPTION : This was made in India, which was re-entered into space, in the area of the Earths orbit. This was re-entered nineteen years later after the space travelling actually first, began. This was done with the purpose to be able to carry out various experiments in space in the field of astronomy.

1) ACHIEVEMENTS: Launch of Satellite

   YEARS : 1979.

   DESCRIPTION: This was another satellite, but launched from Kapustin Yar.

The main purpose of launching this satellite was to collect data. It made changes in the field of forestry, geology as well as hydrology.

A unique aspect about this was that it was the first satellite to carry out Television and cameras.  

2) ACHIEVEMENTS:    Bhaskara II satellite

YEARS : 1981

DESCRIPTION: This re-entered into the space, with the aim of collecting information about land and water zones. Data of two thousand images was received at the hands of Bhaskara II.

YEARS : 1980

DESCRIPTION:  This launch which was conducted as an experimental launch turned out to be successful in its original mission.

ACHIEVEMENTS:  INSAT 1A sendoff of communication satellite

YEARS : 1982

DESCRIPTION: This was another satellite launched. This was launched by a US rocket. This satellite is important from the perspective of it being the first ever in the field of meteorology .
